We're Back in Class -Help Us Keep the Year Going Strong!

The first week of the new academic year was filled with new opportunities, new routines, and new faces as thousands of students returned to school full-time for the first time since the pandemic began. For many, including San Diego's youngest learners, this was their first time on a school campus.
As we celebrate a successful first week of school, our number one priority continues to be keeping students, staff, and families safe, healthy, and able to attend class each day. To ensure this, all families are being asked to complete and return the
COVID-19 Testing Acknowledgement Form by Friday, September 10.
It is encouraged to opt in for this free, onsite testing for students, but it is important to submit the form even if you choose to opt out of testing.
“The goal is to have as many students learning in person at school, as safely as possible,” said Howard Taras, a UC San Diego pediatrician and San Diego Unified consulting physician.
The form can be completed online or on paper, and turned into your school's front office. To access the form, or for instructions on how to complete your form online or on paper, see "Testing Information for Students on our
COVID Testing information page.
